Last night I dreamt I added God to my phone as a contact. I just typed in the name God as a new contact and nothing else, but somehow I was still able to send text messages and God would answer them. Apparently my dad also had a long tattoo on the back of his neck and smoked pot. I didn’t know that, but God did and God made him better.

Growing Up
Some things I realized this weekend:
1. Working cross-culturally is where I ultimately belong. Sure I am doing that now, but
it is a field that I will not leave. It is where my passion lives, where my spirit soars and where I get the most fulfillment: in action or in words.
2. I really like babies.
-My friend Angie let me hold her less than 2-day old baby. He is adorable. Yes, I know they keep you up, are smelly and ooze, they cost a lot of money and aren’t always so cute, but I still like them. (Even all that pregnancy stuff isn’t scaring me as much anymore).
3. Partying is fun, but I’m getting too old.
-Who doesn’t want to just let themselves go now and then and live it up? I do, but then I realize I don’t like the aftermath so much. Staying out until 4a.m. hot tubbing, laughing and drinking is super fun. Getting up to go to church in the morning and then church events all day with no sleep…not so much fun.
4. Numbers 2 and 3 stood out the most to me when I talked to a friend at church. She
does not view life in the same way. Not ready for babies, or giving up the freedom, not even wanting a house. That is great for her. I was there too, but I realized I’m not anymore.
5. For those of you who laugh at my ‘crazy’ dreams I give you this: I dreamt 26 people
would show up at Gina’s party. More than 26 were invited. Today Gina asked me, “Didn’t you dream 26 people were coming to my party?” “Yes,” I said. “Well, that is EXACLTY the number that came.” In elementary school I dreamt my Grandma waved good-bye to me, she died the next day. I’ve dreamt of places I’ve later found myself at. In high school I dreamt I would have a white and orange, male tabby and his name would be Monet. So, continually dreaming that my first child will be a boy…maybe I’m not so far off.
