Part 1
The power was out in NW and it smelled like burning rubber. So we wasted some time chatting. Since there was no coffee Laura and I decided to walk to OCC to get some hoping the power was on there. The sidewalks are still icy. We crossed the dangerous intersected without getting hit by any cars and thought we were in the home clear, a straight shot to the OCC doors. We were wrong. All I can say is that I biffed it with the pure
and excellent grace that only I could do...It was the kind of fall where my whole body twisted in the opposite direction from where I was originally facing. With a very hard and painful thump I landed on my side. My clothes are now wet, and I have quite a few new bruises forming, I can feel it. When I managed to pull myself up from the ground and hobble to the OCC I saw Karen working. So I loudly proclaimed across the foyer that I had splattered all over the sidewalk only then to see President Bleise standing there. Yes, it has been an interesting morning for sure.Part 2
You know, the second part doesn't seem worth sharing anymore after that fall. But yesterday I tried on a pair of jeans that haven't fit in a long time...oh yeah, they fit like a glove. Mono wasn't too bad for me. Who knew all I had to do was lose 10lbs and suddenly a whole new world opens up. I am damn sexy and you know it ;)
